My Sunday Evening Pamper Routine

Sundays: lazy days for some, work days for others. However, you can't beat a good Sunday evening pamper sesh and for me, this is exactly what my Sunday evenings always consist of. At the moment I am living off a very small student budget so I'm not able to afford high end or expensive brands. But, I have managed to find some really great skincare products that are affordable. I start off my pamper routine by applying the 'Roots' hair treatment from Lush to my scalp and roots. My friend got me this for my birthday and I highly recommend this stuff if you have thin and flat hair like me. I leave this on for about 15-20 minutes. Next, I remove any makeup I have on with the 'Simply Pure' micellar water from Superdrug. Most makeup wipes and micellar waters that I've tried in the past have given me allergic reactions. Bristol in the Snow

The 'Beast from the East' attacked the UK, leaving us in below freezing temperatures and covered in ice and snow. For the majority of it, I have been hiding in the warm serenity of my bed, as I do for most of the Winter months. I can't say that I've really enjoyed the stupidly cold weather and I'm very much debating just going into hibernation. However, I can't deny that Bristol looked absolutely beautiful covered in a blanket of white and I couldn't resist going for a long walk in it to take pictures. The snow doesn't stay pretty and white for long in a city and I became fully aware that for the most part, I was just walking on a very large ice rink. I was able to enjoy it for about half an hour, but it wasn't long until my clumsy ass fell over. Twice.
